Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School is looking for a committed and inspiring Eurythmy Teacher for Classes 5 to 8 and Upper School Eurythmy blocks/modules. Modules in the Upper School are taught first thing in the morning in a 4 day rhythm over a 3 week block. The group is comprised of around 15 students from Classes 9-11. This allows for the possibility of working on Eurythmy more intensively. Eurythmy takes places in our beautiful and spacious studio with a sprung floor.
Ideally you should have a Eurythmy qualification, together with either a state teaching qualification, Waldorf Diploma or experience of teaching Eurythmy in a Waldorf School. You should also have excellent classroom management skills and be able to create and maintain a positive and healthy climate for learning, as well as an age appropriate coherent curriculum.
Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School is located in Stourbridge, 30 minutes from Birmingham, Worcester and Wolverhampton, and only a few minutes from the Clent Hills. We follow the Waldorf curriculum, providing all-round education for children aged 3-17 years. We’re the only school in the region providing a real alternative to state education. We are looking for a trained and experienced pedagogical eurythmist to teach K-8 over a series of two 12 week blocks at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School during the 2017 -2018 school year.
